Hi! My name is Kacie Holt and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been doing therapy since 2017 and began working at Butte Psychological Services in January 2024.
I am passionate about creating positive and meaningful change for individuals. I am an eclectic therapist, utilizing a wide array of therapeutic techniques while fostering positive, trusting and connected relationships with my clients. I thoroughly enjoy working with the adult population in the Intensive Outpatient Program and love watching people become happier and healthier individuals.
When I’m not at work I am raising two littles with my husband, ages 3 and 6, who keep me busy with sports, play dates, exploring and provide me with an overabundance of love and joy! I enjoy exercising, spending time with friends and family and traveling. I hope to meet you in group soon!

Laura then earned a Master of Arts in Social Work from CSU Sacramento and has been a practicing LCSW since 2008.
Laura’s desire to support community members’ psychological and emotional well-being was sparked while interning at a publicly funded outpatient behavioral health center. Laura’s children were born and raised in this beautiful community. Their children are now adults and any opportunity to spend time with them and their families is cherished. She also enjoys the outdoors, sunsets, traveling, shopping, and their pets.
“I believe in meeting people where they are at, not leaving them there and empowering them in their journey towards wellness.”
